Elite Competitive Flag Football in Burlington
The Burlington Minor Football Association (BMFA) Rep Flag Football Program is BMFA’s highest level of competitive flag football.

- Athleticism
- Football skills
- Effort

Final rosters are set in the best interest of the team.
-
What if my child does not make the Rep team?
Not making Rep does not mean an athlete is not talented. It simply means:
- The team is full
- The athlete may not yet be ready for this level
- Their age group is not being fully formed this season
House League remains the primary development pathway into Rep Flag.
-
Can my child play House League and Rep Flag?
No. Athletes selected for BMFA Rep Flag are not permitted to participate in BMFA House League during the Rep season.
Rep Flag requires a higher level of commitment, training, and competition. This policy ensures that:
- Rep athletes are fully dedicated to their teams
- Scheduling conflicts are minimized

Athletes who accept a Rep roster spot are expected to commit fully to the Rep Flag program for the season.

-
Are fees refundable?

-
What happens if we miss practices or tournaments?

Can my child play other sports?
Yes, but Rep Flag has to be given the respect the sport and team needs. Tournament weekends cannot be skipped for recreational leagues.
-
What age groups have Rep teams?
Age divisions vary by season based on development and coach availability. Only divisions listed under the Tryouts section are running Rep teams that year.
