Use this page to confirm the right stream, review important dates, and gather the athlete details needed to complete registration smoothly.

Fall 2026 House League Registration

  • Registration is open for BMFA Fall 2026 Flag Football House League.
  • All skill levels are welcome; no experience is necessary.
  • Final registration deadline: September 1, 2026.
  • Opening day / Week 1: September 13, 2026.
  • Championship weekend: November 1, 2026.

Fall Divisions

  • COED U8: players born in 2019-2020.
  • COED U10: players born in 2017-2018.
  • COED U12: players born in 2015-2016.
  • BOYS U14: players born in 2013-2014.
  • BOYS U16: players born in 2011-2012.
  • BOYS U18/U19: players born in 2008-2010.
  • GIRLS U14: players born in 2013-2014.
  • GIRLS U16/U18: players born in 2011-2012 and 2009-2010 as a combined age group.
  • Depending on registration numbers, divisions may split into Minor and Major single-birth-year groups.

Game Days and Locations

  • U8: Sundays from 9:00-11:00 AM.
  • U10: Sundays from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.
  • U12: Sundays from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM.
  • U14 Boys and Girls: Sundays from 1:00-4:00 PM.
  • U16 Boys and U16/U18 Girls: Sundays from 4:00-9:00 PM.
  • U18/U19 Boys: Mondays from 7:00-10:00 PM.
  • Game locations are Norton Field and Notre Dame Secondary School, subject to change.
  • Practices are set by each coach after teams are finalized, including dates, times, and locations.

Fees and Equipment

  • BMFA base fee: $260.
  • Football Canada and Football Ontario fees: $22.50, only needed once per year.
  • Total fee: $282.50.
  • Spring 2026 BMFA flag players can use discount code FALL2026 at payment for $30 off.
  • Each player receives a jersey, shorts, one flag belt, and one mouthguard.
  • Cleats are recommended, with no metal spikes.
  • Players should bring a water bottle.

Team Formation and Volunteers

  • Rep flag football players are not permitted in BMFA House League, including current BMFA Rep players.
  • Full team submissions are not accepted.
  • Teams may include a maximum of four returning teammates on the same roster.
  • Friend requests must be mutual, and players may submit up to two requests.
  • Friend requests are reviewed but not guaranteed.
  • Scorekeeper volunteers can email larissa.lambert@burlingtonfootball.ca with the subject line: Scorekeeper.
  • Head coaches receive full registration reimbursement at the conclusion of the season.
  • One assistant coach per team receives half registration reimbursement at the conclusion of the season.
  • All coaches need a Vulnerable Sector Check, NCCP registration, and the mandatory online training course before Week 1.
